The Butterfly Effect - Implementation note
The original Butterfly Effect project is being completed by students at Macleod College. As this is at least a 3-year project,
the decision was made to target a group who could see the initiative
through to its conclusion.
Specifically -
• 5/6 PIL and 7D (2004)
• 6PIL, Select Year 7, 8D (2005)
Student communities not involved in the original butterfly reintroduction initiative can still participate in this project. Step by step guides for building butterfly gardens in schools are available on our website (see 'Teacher Support Material'). Costs associated with building school-based gardens are absorbed by individual schools.
